The Royal Gazette/Bermuda Stock Exchange index rose over six points last week after three stocks rose in price and over $500,000 worth of shares were traded.

Bermuda Commercial Bank rose 70 cents to $7.00 and Argus and BF&M both grew 25 cents to finish at $19.50 and $10.25 respectively.

The index closed up 0.26 percent or 6.451 points at 2,443.76 trading 29,452 shares worth $546,679.15.
