The Premier will take part in a virtual town hall meeting today to talk about changes to the island’s Covid-19 regulations.

David Burt said the meeting, to be held on the Government’s Facebook page, would also include Kim Wilson, the health minister, and Ernest Peets, the Minister of Youth, Culture and Sport.

He added that the meeting would allow the Government to discuss how they planned to move the island “beyond the pandemic”.

Mr Burt said: “Bermuda should feel proud of what we’ve accomplished together as a country in dealing with the coronavirus.

“As a government, we’re looking forward to the future with hope and optimism.

“The reality is that we’re at a stage where we must learn to live with Covid-19 and it is important that we engage with the public by listening to and answering their questions, hearing their feedback and sharing our plans during this virtual forum.”

The town hall meeting is scheduled to start at 6.30pm and will be broadcast on CITV’s YouTube and TV channels as well as on Facebook.

Members of the public can e-mail questions to askus@gov.bm.
