Top PHC official banned by BFA
the remainder of the current season following an incident in the FA Cup tie against Young Men's Social Club when he was abusive to match officials.
Simons was charged with using foul and abusive language and threatening behaviour to officials during the game on January 23 which PHC lost 1-0.
He was one of six players or club officials who appeared before Bermuda Football Association's Disciplinary Committee on February 3.
Donnie Charles' conduct on that same FA Cup day also landed him in trouble.
The defender, who was only recently before the disciplinary comittee when he was placed on probation, made an obscene gesture to spectators after netting the winning goal late in the game against Hamilton Parish at St. David's.
By doing so Charles violated his probation and was slapped with a four-game suspension, of which he has already served two matches.
Social Club player Yusef Williams is serving a three-match ban for his conduct in a First Division game against Ireland Rangers last month when he verbally abused and threatened to injure the referee. Social Club lost 2-1.
The other three appearing before the committee were all from Devonshire Colts, all for their conduct in the FA Cup match against Devonshire Cougars on January 23 at White Hill field.
Striker Aljame Zuill was slapped with a one-match ban for insulting remarks and entering the field after being sent off.
Marvin Belboda, who was also sent off in that ill-tempered match, was placed on probation until December 31 for assaulting an opponent.
Coach David Furbert, who spoke out after the match and then criticised referee Stuart Crockwell in a newspaper article the following day, had the charges against him dropped.
