Patrick Tannock has resigned as a director of Butterfield Bank, effective from December 21, 2009, it was announced on the Bermuda Stock Exchange (BSX) yesterday.

Mr. Tannock, who is executive vice-president of professional lines at Ace Bermuda, stepped down due to other commitments.
