An expert in cervical cancer is giving a talk for the public tonight. Dr. Sarah Feldman is a Harvard-trained specialist in the field who is director of the Pap Smear Evaluation Centre at Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston.

As well as speaking about cervical cancer, she will be giving advice about a new vaccine which protects against the sexually transmitted HPV virus.

The event, organised by the Bermuda TB, Cancer and Health Association, takes place at the Bermuda Underwater Exploration Institute, from 7 p.m.

The Bermuda Diabetes Association will be providing blood sugar screening from 6 p.m. to 6.45 p.m.
