Kite-making contest is just the tonic for dialysis patients

IN an effort to boost the morale of dialysis patients who will find themselves receiving treatment on Good Friday, staff at King Edward VII Memorial Hospital organised a kite-making competition.About a dozen patients submitted kites which in turn will be judged by dialysis patients.

Earlier this week Unit Assistant, Sharmette Clacken and patients Shaundall Martin and Kenneth Burgess, along with Unit Co-ordinator Jill Carey Caines, displayed some of the kites entered in the competition.

The winners will receive traditional Good Friday and Easter baskets donated by staff, filled with goodies including marbles, jacks, word search puzzle books and spinning tops.
