More than $2.7 million worth of shares changed hands on the Royal Gazette Bermuda Stock Exchange last week, but the BSX Index remained virtually unchanged.

The biggest climber was West Hamilton Ltd., which closed up $5 (8.33 percent) for the week at $65 on sale of 300 shares.

Bermuda Press (Holdings) Ltd., parent company of The Royal Gazette, also enjoyed a good week as its share price climbed 75 cents (5.17 percent) to $15.75.

Argus Group Holdings Ltd. advanced 60 cents (4.17 percent) to end Friday on $15, as 13,955 shares sold. But the week’s most active issue was Butterfield Bank Ltd. A total of 39,921 of its shares were traded, as the Bank’s share price lost 50 cents (0.84 percent) to close on $59.

Bermuda Commercial Bank Ltd. (BCB) took a sharper dip, falling 75 cents (7.89 percent) to end Friday on $8.75 on trading of 115 shares. But BCB Warrants climbed 5 cents (3.33 percent) to close on $1.55.

Bermuda Aviation Services Ltd. advanced slightly over the five days, closing up 5 cents (0.8 percent) on $6.30, as 800 shares traded.

And Belco Holdings Ltd., which announced a near 6 percent rise in annual profits this week enjoyed a 3.48 percent boost to its share prices, ending Friday up 80 cents at $23.80.

KeyTech Ltd. fell 55 cents (3.54 percent) to close the week on $15, as 105 shares changed hands.

The BSX Index ended the week down by 5.12 points (0.1 percent) at 5,074.31. Volume was 62,503 and turnover was $2,704,681.90.
