On a relatively quiet day for the Royal Gazette / Bermuda Stock Exchange there was a 11.26 (0.22 percent) fall to a market close at 5,089.18.

Devonshire Industries shares improved by $1 (7.7 percent) to end up at $14 after 200 were traded. Also moving upwards were Butterfield Bank shares, edging five cents (0.1 percent) higher to $59.05 on the strength of 533 shares bring exchanged.

BELCO shares dropped in value by 80 cents (3.4 percent) to close at $23 after 400 were traded.

The biggest quantity of shares to change hands was 1,500 of Argus Group at $15 each, but there was no change to the closing price.

In total 2,633 shares were traded on the BSX, representing a value of $65,957.
