Bauer to discuss current exhibiti

Austrian-born artist Ernst Bauer will give a talk about his current exhibition, a tribute to the writings of James Joyce, at the Elliot Gallery in Devonshire on Tuesday, May 15 at 6.30 p.m. He will discuss what inspired him about the author’s writings, and how he portrayed them in his drawings and artwork.

The event will also provide an opportunity to view the 25-piece collection of limited edition lithographs, which are also for sale. Refreshments will be served, and admission is free. For further information 236-5963.

New Exhibition at Maritime Museum

Tonight marks the opening of a new exhibition ‘32 degrees N 64 degrees W Approaching Bermuda’ at the Bermuda Maritime Museum. The exhibition features historic watercolours from the Fay and Geoffrey Elliott Collection depicting aids to navigation by Driver, Seymour and Le Marchant Tupper.
