Terrence Bean has been appointed president of Bermuda company Quest Consulting, replacing Dion Smith. Mr. Smith, founder of the information technology consulting firm, resigned last month to pursue other interests.

"Dion has been very instrumental with the progress and the growth of the company," Mr. Bean said. "I remember when we first started out with just the two of us sharing a small office with another business. We now have our own offices, five staff and the company has experienced steady growth".

Mr. Bean has relinquished the post of chief technology officer to take over as president. A graduate of Plymouth State College of the University of New Hampshire, Mr. Bean has a bachelor's degree in Computer Information Systems with a minor in Business Administration.

He was formerly a IT Systems Engineer at Independent Consulting Solutions. He has been the company's chief technology officer for the past six years.
