Roadworks expected near Harrington Sound

Lane closures are expected in Hamilton Parish starting this week, the Ministry of Public Works and Environment said.

A spokesman said geotechnical inspections will take place along Harrington Sound Road near Shark Hole, as well as North Shore Road near Shelly Bay Beach, starting on Wednesday.

The first phase of this roadwork is expected to finish by Thursday and the final stage will take place between May 20 and 22.

Sequential lane closures are needed while this work, which will be done between 7.30am and 6pm, takes place.

Ministry representatives will manage traffic in the area with stop and go signs.

Questions should be directed to principal highways engineer Tina Beer-Searle on 504-3044.
