The RG/BSX Index was up 51.22 points (1.84 per cent) on the Bermuda Stock Exchange to end the day at 2,829.61.
Butterfield Bank saw activity with 4,465 shares changing hands to close at $42.50, up $1 (2.4 per cent).
Allshores had 3,832 shares move to close at $16.50, down 50 cents (29 per cent).
The turnover was $252,948.
Butterfield was up four cents (0.09 per cent) on the New York Stock Exchange to finish at $43.23. The volume was 136,005.
