Workforce Development hosts virtual session for graduates

The session will introduce graduates to training, tools and resources to help them transition into the workplace

The Department of Workforce Development is inviting recent college and university graduates who are unemployed to take part in a virtual career information session next week.

The 30-minute session will be held on Wednesday, September 3, at 12pm, and will introduce graduates to training, tools and resources designed to help them transition from education into the workplace.

Participants will learn about opportunities for real-world work experience, skill-building programmes, professional networking and potential job placements. They will also hear about the upcoming graduate apprenticeship programme, which offers a structured pathway into the workforce.

Jason Hayward, Minister of Economy and Labour, said: “The transition from the classroom to the workplace can feel overwhelming, but it is also a time full of potential. We want to ensure our graduates know they are not alone in this process. Through the DWD’s programmes and partnerships, we are committed to opening doors, creating pathways and equipping Bermuda’s young professionals with the skills and experience they need to thrive.”
