Conyers’ private client and trust practice will again sponsor the 2025 Step Bermuda Conference, which takes place on October 16 and 17 at the Bermuda Underwater Exploration Institute.

Conyers said the Step Bermuda Conference was a leading event for trust and estate practitioners, attracting delegates from Bermuda and abroad.

Conyers’ speakers at the conference include senior associate, Satjivan Singh Aujla, who is moderating the panel “Accommodating changing circumstances in longer-term trusts” on October 16.

Ben Adamson, director, will speak on the panel “Jurisdictional battles: Bermuda v Cayman” on October 17.

The firm said: “Conyers’ role at the Step Bermuda Conference highlights the private client and trust team as a leading adviser on private wealth matters, trust administration and cross-border structuring of trusts.

“The team welcomes the opportunity to strengthen its connections with peers, the global network of private client practitioners and the trust industry community more generally.

Anna Bruce-Smith, director in the Bermuda private client and trust practice and Step Bermuda committee member, said: “We are proud to continue our sponsorship of the Step Bermuda Conference. It is an important forum for sharing knowledge and engaging with colleagues on the challenges and opportunities facing the private wealth and trust industry.

“Conyers has a long tradition of advising high-net-worth families and fiduciaries in Bermuda and internationally and this event is an excellent opportunity to contribute to the global discussion.”
