Flights reduced as winter season kicks in
Airlines are to reduce service between Bermuda and several destinations next month.
The November flight schedule, published online by Skyport, showed flights to Philadelphia halting, while airlift to Montreal, London, Toronto and Newark are to be cut back during the month.
However, the schedule is subject to change.
American Airlines will continue to offer daily service to Charlotte, New York and Miami, but it will cease its five weekly Philadelphia flights on November 1.
Meanwhile, Air Canada’s weekly service to Montreal is not included in the published schedule, with the last flight listed to take place on October 18, and the airline will reduce its Toronto service from five flights a week to two.
British Airways will cut back its service to London Heathrow from seven days a week to five, and United Airlines will reduce its service between Bermuda and Newark from six weekly flights to five.
Jet Blue will operate four weekly flights between Bermuda and Boston throughout the month, while Delta Air Lines will offer three weekly flights to Atlanta and four to New York.
BermudAir is scheduled to halt its Westchester service, and to slightly reduce its number of flights to Halifax, Toronto and Baltimore.
However, the schedule does include the airline’s new twice-weekly service between Bermuda and New York LaGuardia, which is scheduled to launch on October 29.
BermudAir is also scheduled to offer five-times-a-week service to Boston, along with four flights a week to Toronto and twice-a-week service to Baltimore, Orlando, Newark, Halifax, Raleigh-Durham, Richmond and Montreal.
