Six lawyers have been promoted to the role of senior associate at Carey Olsen Bermuda Ltd.

Siobhan Boys, Charlotte Donnelly and Matthew Summers have each been promoted within the firm's dispute resolution and litigation team, which received a top Band 1 ranking in the 2025 Chambers Global guide.

Ms Boys has experience acting in a broad range of commercial litigation matters, with a focus on regulatory disputes and cross-border insolvency and restructuring matters.

Ms Donnelly has advised on small claims to complex cross-border disputes in commercial and civil litigation, including insolvency proceedings, regulatory enforcement and insurance and reinsurance disputes.

Mr Summers has experience litigating a wide variety of commercial disputes, including contract, insurance, debt, civil fraud and corporate governance matters.

Thomas Connor, Matthew Dulaney and Erinn O'Brien have been promoted within the firm's corporate team, which legal directories say is one of the strongest in Bermuda.

They each advise on all aspects of Bermuda corporate and finance law, with notable experience in mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance, regulation and complex commercial matters.

The law firm said: “Prior to joining Carey Olsen, they built significant corporate experience at leading law firms around the world — Thomas at Harbottle and Lewis in London, Matthew at Herbert Smith Freehills in Sydney and Erinn at a leading Canadian law firm.”

On the promotions, Kyle Masters, partner at the firm, said: “Since we opened our doors almost eight years ago, Carey Olsen Bermuda has gone from strength to strength, driven by the hire and development of talented lawyers such as these.

“We are proud to have Siobhan, Charlotte, Matthew, Thomas, Matthew and Erinn as a part of our team and look forward to supporting them as they progress in their careers and build their deserved reputations as exceptional, client-focused legal professionals.”
