Jutorre Burgess celebrated another career milestone after making his 50th appearance for Harborough Town in their 4-1 defeat of Rushden & Diamonds in the Isuzu FA Trophy first round.

“Reaching my 50th cap for the club is special as it reflects the dedication and hard work I’ve put in over time,” Burgess told The Royal Gazette.

“It’s a proud moment to represent Harborough Town consistently and contribute to the team’s progress in such an important competition. Here’s to many more milestones and victories ahead.”

Hosts Harborough prevailed at the Beehive last Saturday on tallies from Connor Kennedy (two), Devon Kelly-Evans and Danny Newton, while Raymond Poku converted a consolation for the visiting team.

The Bees will now host National League South outfit Enfield Town in the second round.

“Advancing to the next round of the FA Trophy is a huge achievement for Harborough Town, and it’s an incredible feeling to be part of that success,” Burgess said.

Harborough are riding high in second place in the Southern League Premier Division Central, a point behind Spalding United. They are the only unbeaten team in the league.
