High school and university students are being introduced to the financial services industry through a platform that explores career pathways available at KPMG in Bermuda.

The firm’s second biannual student networking event of the year, K-Nect, will be held at their offices, at Crown House on Par-la-Ville Road in Hamilton, Monday, December 15.

Over the years, the event has connected hundreds of students with industry professionals, helping them gain insights into future academic, internship and employment opportunities.

Felicia Wilsen, KPMG partner is chair of the Lift Off Programme which supports Bermudian students through internships, work shadowing and long-term career development.

She said: “The evening offers both locally-based students and those returning home for the winter break a valuable opportunity to have meaningful conversations and exposure to different service lines; students can better understand the skills and experiences that shape a career in financial services.”

Students can submit their resumes for review and consideration or for feedback by KPMG human resources staff.

Students can register here for the event where they can learn more about the financial services industry.
