Two injured after motorcycles collide

Two men were taken to hospital after two motorcycles collided on Somerset Road near the junction with Cricket Lane, Sandys.
Traffic diversions are in place at Long Bay Lane and Cricket Lane. Motorists are advised to use alternative routes.
The collision occurred shortly after 9pm when one of the motorcycles was exiting the Carousel Liquors property, while the other was travelling in the eastbound lane of Somerset Road.
One man was transported by ambulance to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital for treatment of a suspected head injury. The second man was taken to hospital by a private vehicle for treatment.
