The RG/BSX Index rose 61 points (1.89 per cent) to close at 3,297.00 today.
Butterfield Bank and Allshores Ltd saw activity on the Bermuda Stock Exchange, with 1,000 shares of the bank changing hands to finish the day at $51, up $1 (2.0 per cent). Allshores saw 6,600 shares traded to close at $21.80, up 35 cents (1.6 per cent).
Butterfield closed at $51.32 on the New York Stock Exchange, up 5 cents (0.10 per cent) with 114,817 shares traded.
