The MoonGate Group has once again distributed its “We Care Packages” to vulnerable people in the community.

The inaugural campaign began in 2020 with a distribution of 100 packages, but due to the demand over the years, the number doubled.

Moongate had 200 distributions again this year, noting its appreciation to several of its own HealthGap partners who provided essential items which will help out those in need of basic necessities.

The group highlighted co-sponsor Butterfield & Vallis, which “has been incredibly generous and supported this community project since its inception”.

Leon Bascome, CEO of MoonGate stated: “Many organisations continue to give of their time and talents; so, we applaud them, as well.”

He said: “I am grateful for the MoonGate Team, our HealthGap partners and others who successfully bring this to fruition.”

Chantel Simons, business development officer at Moongate, is the event organiser who said each year the need in the community grows.

Volunteers included MoonGate Group’s finance manager Theresa Roque and client relationship administrator Ariana Stirling, Hope Healthcare Wellness and Outreach Centre office manager Marilyn Simmons and Krzystof Puciaty, pharmacist at Caesars Pharmacy.
