Out and about: what’s worth doing this June?

June in Bermuda always feels like the real start of summer. The calendar fills quickly with outdoor dinners, concerts, cruises, festivals, cultural events and long weekends built around being outside as much as possible. Whether you’re looking for live music, rosé in the park, sunset sails, or Carnival energy, here are some of the events worth adding to your calendar this month.

Art By The Sea with Black Pearl Art Academy

June 3, 10, 17 and 24 | $380

For anyone looking for a slower, more creative summer activity, Art By The Sea offers outdoor painting classes designed around Bermuda’s natural scenery. The course focuses on colour, light and impressionistic painting techniques in small group settings across different outdoor locations. All materials are included.

Lost Society Afters: BATU

June 5 | Karma Nightclub | From $40

Following Marina Nights at Hamilton Princess & Beach Club, Lost Society continues the night with Turkish DJ and producer BATU performing alongside Korie and other local DJs at Karma. Expect deep house, late-night energy, and one of the stronger nightlife events of the month.

Bloom Charity Vendor Event

June 5 | Goslings Wine Cellar | $60

Part shopping event, part social evening, Bloom transforms the Goslings Wine Cellar into an elevated vendor marketplace featuring local fashion, skincare, candles, accessories, food vendors and curated shopping experiences. Tickets include drinks, nibbles, entertainment and a signature Bloom bouquet, with proceeds supporting the Eliza Doolittle Foundation.

The Black OurStory Tour

June 7 | $65

Hosted by Titan Express during National Heroes Month, this guided tour explores the stories of Black Bermudian entrepreneurs, changemakers and national heroes connected to the north-east Hamilton area. The experience combines storytelling, history and cultural reflection through a city bus tour focused on legacy and community impact.

Island Gyals, Gays & Theys: A Bermuda Pride Cruise

June 7 | UberVida | $95

Set sail for an afternoon of sun, sea, music and celebration during this Bermuda Pride cruise experience organised by OUTBermuda. Designed to celebrate both Queer and cultural identity, the four-hour cruise invites guests to wear colours representing their heritage, gender identity, sexuality, or community while connecting with Bermuda’s LGBTQ+ community on the water. The cruise includes a swimming stop, light lunch, music, and drinks available for purchase on-board. Guests must be 18+.

Carnival in Bermuda

June 10 to 16 | Various Prices

Carnival season officially takes over Bermuda this month with a full line-up of fetes, road events, parties and experiences including Evolve, Army Fete, Oasis, Swizzle at Sunrise, Waves, Glow, Pure, Wetta, Revel de Road and more. The Menuhin Foundation Annual Concert

June 14 | Ruth Seaton James Auditorium | $25 adults, $15 seniors/students

The Menuhin Foundation’s annual concert returns this month featuring performances from student musicians, the Menuhin Orchestra and this year’s scholarship winner. The evening showcases some of Bermuda’s strongest young musical talent and remains one of the island’s longstanding cultural events.

Summer Sunset Cruises with Bermuda Underwater Exploration Institute

Throughout June | From $135

After-work sunset cruises aboard the luxury catamaran Zara continue throughout June with cocktails, ocean views and a relaxed Friday evening atmosphere. It’s one of the easiest ways to slide into the weekend properly.

Summer Jazz Dinner at The Loren at Pink Beach

June 26 | $195

Live jazz, ocean views, cocktails and a four-course plated dinner come together for one of June’s more elevated evenings. Hosted at The Disk, the Summer Jazz Dinner blends coastal cuisine with live music in a beachfront setting overlooking the Atlantic. Rosé Day at Deja View

June 27 | Barr’s Bay Park | $115

Rosé season officially lands at Barr’s Bay Park this June with an outdoor tasting experience featuring rosé selections from three of Bermuda’s major wine distributors. Expect music, canapés and plenty of summer energy overlooking the water.

Motor Fest VIII

June 28 | Front Street | From $55

Cars, motorcycles, stunt shows, DJs, live performances and powerboat racing all collide during one of Bermuda’s loudest and most high-energy summer events. Motor Fest VIII includes an escorted Front Street ride-out, live entertainment, vendor activations and a $4,000 Best in Show prize pool. Expect a full day of engines, crowds, music and waterfront energy.
