Brangman re-elected Caribbean postal secretary-general

Bermuda’s postmaster general, Samuel Brangman Jr, was reappointed secretary-general of the Caribbean Postal Union this month.

A government statement said Mr Brangman, who was first appointed to the position in 2024, was re-elected to the role during the 28th CPU conference at Nassau in the Bahamas.

The statement added that Mr Brangman also received an award to honour his “transformative leadership and enduring contribution to the growth and unity of the CPU”.

Diallo Rabain, Minister of the Cabinet Office and Digital Innovation, said: “Mr Brangman's reappointment reflects the confidence that Caribbean postal administrations continue to place in his leadership, expertise and vision.

“Throughout his tenure, he has demonstrated a strong commitment to advancing regional co-operation, strengthening postal services and supporting innovation across the Caribbean.”

Mr Brangman has been postmaster general since 2021 and holds a master’s degree in logistics and supply chain management along with a master’s certificate in project management.
