Wolves appoint Tory Davis as technical director

Tory Davis has taken on top role at Wolves Sports Club

Tory Davis has been appointed as technical director of Wolves Sports Club.

Davis, who has served the club in various coaching capacities, will lead the club’s technical development, youth programming and coaching standards across all age groups. He will also serve in an advisory capacity with the men’s senior team and be the under-13 boys head coach.

In his new role, Davis will focus on building structured player development pathways, mentoring the club’s volunteer coaching staff and raising training standards to support the club’s long-term growth, particularly as it relaunches and expands its youth programme.

“We are entering an exciting new chapter for Wolves Sports Club,” said William Usher Jr, president & chief executive of the club.

“Tory’s experience in player development, combined with his passion for community mentorship, makes him the right person to lead our technical direction,” Usher said

“His leadership will be instrumental in strengthening our youth pathway and supporting our coaches.”

Tory Davis expressed his commitment to the role and his delight over his new role

“I am incredibly honoured to step into the position of technical director,” Davis said.

“My focus from day one will be on building a structured, disciplined, and highly supportive environment where our young players can thrive both on and off the field. We want to refine our technical approach, empower our coaching staff and ensure every player on our pathway has the opportunity to maximise their potential.

I look forward to working closely with the entire Wolves family to drive this programme forward.”

Davis brings significant experience to the role, having coached youth for 18 years at North Village Community Club and, most recently, Warwick Academy. He has also secured league promotion and a shield championship with Wolves Sports Club at the senior level. He holds a Concacaf “B” coaching licence and is pursuing his Concacaf “A” Licence.
