Reduced hours at several judicial offices from Friday

The judicial department announced that several Supreme and Magistrates’ Court offices will close at 1pm every weekday from Friday until September 4.

A notice stated that the Supreme Court and Court of Appeal Registries at the Dame Lois Browne Evans and Government Administration buildings will be open from 9am to 1pm between those dates and arrangements should be made to file all documents within that time.

Urgent files can be submitted between 2.30pm and 4.30pm between those dates by e-mailing supremecourt@gov.bm, sccriminal@gov.bm, courtofappeal@gov.bm, probate@gov.bm or scfamily@gov.bm.

The notice added that the Magistrates’ Court reception desk, family support office, criminal, records, traffic and civil sections will also close at 1pm between July 10 and September 4, but the cashier’s office will be open between 9am and 4.30pm.
