Dog walkers urged to remember waste bags

Dog owners have been urged to bring their own waste bags when walking their pets as supplies have run out at some public bins.
A spokesman for the Department of Parks said that DogiPot waste bags are temporarily unavailable at some locations while the department awaits a new shipment, expected to arrive in about a month.
He added: “During this period, members of the public are asked to bring their own waste bags when walking their dogs and to dispose of all dog waste responsibly.
“The DogiPot bags will be restocked as soon as the shipment arrives.
“The Department thanks dog owners and walkers for their co-operation and for helping to keep Bermuda’s parks and public spaces clean.”
