Kudos: the Mount Saint Agnes Academy graduating class of 2026 (Photograph supplied)

The most recent graduates from Mount Saint Agnes Academy have earned more than $255,000 in scholarship funding.

A statement said graduates received several scholarships, including from the Bermuda Foundation for Insurance Studies, Belco and international schools, and all 28 were accepted into a postsecondary institution.

The statement added that 11 graduates will be attending school in Canada, one in Thailand, ten at Bermuda College, two in the US and four in Britain.

Graduates chose the theme for the ceremony, “United in our Differences”, which highlighted the school’s diversity and cohesion.

Callum Adams, class valedictorian, told his classmates: “High school has been more than just classrooms, exams and assignments — it’s also been laughter in the middle of lessons, friendships that grew out of shared stress and moments we didn’t realise were memories while they were happening.”

He added: “We often think grades, awards or achievements define success, But looking around today, it’s clear that success also looks like perseverance: showing up even when things get hard, learning from mistakes and continuing anyway.”

Anna Faria-Machado, the principal, said: “You have learnt that unity is not about sameness, it is about understanding, respecting and uplifting one another.

“It is about recognising that each person brings something unique and valuable to the community. The world needs this from you now.”
