A home in Pembroke was damaged in a fire this afternoon but no one was believed to be injured in the blaze.

The Bermuda Fire and Rescue Service led fire hoses from two appliances down Tulo Lane from the junction with Saint John’s Road to combat the fire.

While the flames had died down by 4pm, firefighters remained at the scene to ensure the blaze could not reignite.

The Bermuda Police Service were also on scene, steering traffic away from the area while the firefighters worked.
