Legal and professional services firm Walkers welcomed eight students to the firm’s Bermuda office as part of the annual legal internship programme.

Reflecting the strong interest in the programme and the firm’s commitment to developing local talent, this year’s internship is being delivered across two cohorts. Interns are placed in assigned practice groups, working closely alongside associate and senior counsel supervisors while gaining valuable hands-on experience and insight into the legal profession.

In addition to their core placements, interns engage with colleagues from across the firm’s practice areas and business services teams, providing a well-rounded understanding of life at an international law firm.

Nathalie West, finance and corporate partner and training committee co-chair said the programme provides students with exposure to the legal practice, while helping them develop practical skills, build professional relationships and gain valuable insight into careers in Bermuda’s legal sector.

The 2026 interns are Eliana Kirkos, Amaya Foy, Owen Neal, Erin Jones, Za'Khari Turner, Kennedy Wilk, Helena Thomas and Charlotte Peckett.
