Traffic was this afternoon being diverted away from a crash on Front Street.
The collision is believed to have involved a car and motorcycle near King Street, but details were limited.
A police spokesman said that traffic exiting Hamilton was being diverted up Court Street, with motorists entering the city via Spurling Hill.
Any witnesses to the incident should call 211.
