Bermuda College signs agreement with Paris art school
Bermuda College graduates can earn a fine arts degree at the Paris College of Art thanks to a new agreement.
A statement said the arrangement between the two schools means that Bermuda College students who complete an Associate of Arts in Art and Design degree and meet the required academic standards will be automatically accepted into the Paris programme.
Ali Arouzi, Bermuda College vice-president of academic affairs, said the partnership will allow graduates to access “exceptional academic opportunities while showcasing Bermudian talent on an international stage”.
Linda Jarvin, president of Paris University, which includes Paris College of Art, said: “Given Bermuda College’s commitment to student success and rigorous academic programmes, we are certain that their students will be an excellent addition to our campus community in Paris.”
All courses completed with a grade of C or better as part of the Bermuda College degree will be accepted for transfer and applied towards programme requirements in Paris, where appropriate.
Bermuda College students who are considering studying overseas can visit college.bm/index.php/transfer-pathways and seek guidance from the school’s counselling and career centre.
