Traffic is being diverted on Harrington Sound Road, Smith’s after a motorist sustained minor injuries following a single vehicle crash this evening.

Police said the male motor car driver lost control of the vehicle and struck a wall, east of Harrington Sound Primary School, Harrington Sound Road, Smith’s.

The man has been arrested for outstanding warrants.

The roadway was blocked with eastbound traffic being diverted along Harrington Hundreds Road and westbound traffic over Knapton Hill.

Motorists were urged to avoid the area where possible and use alternative routes to get to their destinations.
