Pupils make donation to Packwood Home

Bermuda High School students present their gifts to residents at Packwood Home.

Bermuda High School pupils put smiles on the faces of senior residents at Packwood Home with a donation of gifts.

Eleven girls spent five Sundays doing bake sales and bagging groceries to raise $2,500 for the seniors who have dementia.

The funds went towards “overstuffed” hampers from Miles Market, requested products including hypoallergenic creams, as well as creature comforts including therapeutic dolls and cosy socks.

They also handed over a $350 gift voucher for People’s Pharmacy and $475 in cash.
