Louis and Carol Berry of Basking Ridge, New Jersey announce the engagement of their daughter Cara Michelle Berry to James Robert Young of New Hampshire.

Cara is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Erskine Dyer of Pembroke West and the late Reverend Canon and Mrs. Louis Berry of Montclair, New Jersey.

Cara graduated from Ridge High and received a BA in Spanish and Music from St. Bonaventure University, New York and is completing a masters in Music Therapy at Lesley University, Cambridge, Massachusetts.

James is the son of the Reverend Dr. and Mrs. James Young of Epsom, New Hampshire.

He graduated from Pembroke Academy in New Hampshire and holds a BA in Religion and Economics from Dartmouth University in New Hampshire.

James is completing a M.Div. degree at Harvard University and will enter a Ph.D programme in Religion at Princeton University, New Jersey in the autumn.

A summer 2009 wedding is planned.
