by Prospect on Thursday night at PHC Stadium.

Then, with his most important goal for the club, midfielder George Liburd popped up with an 88th minute winner to keep alive the club's hopes of returning to the First Division for the first time in 15 years.

Winger Webster Mills shot Social Club into the lead in the first half only to see Terry Thomas equalise for Prospect early in the second half. And for the rest of the match it was tough going for Social Club as they were made to fight hard for the win.

Liburd was guilty of missing at least a couple of easy chances in the second half before he eventually made amends with the winner which came with two agonizing minutes left in the crucial match.

The match was considered the tougher of Social Club's two remaining matches as they bid to close the three point gap that separated them from second-placed Somerset Eagles after last weekend's games. Eagles have completed their season but their players and fans will be out in force tomorrow at PHC Stadium cheering for Wolves, against when Social Club close out their season.

Social Club will win promotion with champions Southampton Rangers if they beat Wolves while a draw would be enough for Eagles to clinch the second promotion spot on goal difference.

Other matches tomorrow see Hamilton Parish taking on Paget at Frog Lane in a clash of the bottom teams while Prospect meet Port Royal at Police Field and St. David's entertain Rangers at St. David's.
