PHC 1(4)Ten-man PHC knocked Dandy Town out of the Friendship last night in a penalty shoot-out at Devonshire Rec.

In a match that wasn't for the faint at heart, PHC hung on in the dying stages of regulation after youngster Khamisi Lightbourne was sent off for his second bookable offence.

Town went ahead in fine fashion, with Damon Ming weaving his way past three defenders on the touch-line before slotting past Ray Glasford in the PHC goal. Blenn Bean equalised for Zebras minutes later after he lashed home a free kick.

Glasford also made a few saves to restrict the ever dangerous Raymond Beach.

With penalties set to settle the match, Zebras skipper Robert Richardson's blushes were speared after missing his spot-kick when Wolde Place and Seion Darrell both missed kicks for Hornets.

Hamilton Parish knocked MR Onions out of the Shield in a penalty shootout after a thrilling 120 minutes of action.

A hat-trick from Kaiya Darrell, a brace from Dejon Simmons, and two penalty saves from Nigel Burgess guided the side to victory.

Darrell put Parish ahead in the 18th minute when his free kick deflected off the wall and into the net.

Onions quickly replied when Keston Lewis side-footed home from close range a minute later.

Akeem Albuoy put Parish back ahead in the 49th before Darrell got his second with a thunderous long-range effort.

But Onions found a way back into the match through Kevin Ronaldson before Greg Simon level matters on the final whistle. Ronaldson put Onions ahead 4-3 early in the first half of extra-time, but substitute Dejon Simmons draw Parish level moments later.

With the game going penalties, Darrell and Simmons got their third and second respectively from the spot, while Burgess saved two spot kicks and also stroked home a penalty in a winning effort.
