Thomas, who admitted breaking and entering, took six cans of beer from a fridge at a property in Loyal Hill, Devonshire.

He told Senior Magistrate the Wor. Will Francis yesterday he had been working at the property -- and fell to temptation.

But Sgt. Earl Kirby, prosecuting, said Thomas, of Railway Trail, Devonshire, had broken into the property last week.

He was caught by the owner walking out of the property, and claimed he had wanted to use the toilet.

"The owner later found his home had been broken into,'' added Sgt. Kirby.
