The deadline for applications for Bermuda International Business Association's chief executive officer is today. The association lost its CEO Richard Calderon last month, and has advertised for a replacement.

Marketing manager Aaron Adderley said that they had received a "number" of applications for the post.

"We have had a response from a number of good people - as you would expect from someone with the kinds of qualifications needed to fill the position," said Mr. Adderley.

In May BIBA announced Mr. Calderon had stepped down to pursue "other interests" and left BIBA at the end of May.
