Battle of the bottom clubs could be exciting

St. David's v Devonshire Colts

A battle of the bottom sides, this match should be exciting given how both sides like to attack.

Having allowed far more goals than scored, the pair will look to gain an early advantage.

Kyle Jones and Angelo Cannonier will have to step up for their respective sides if there is to be a winner.

Prediction : Colts 3-2

Dandy Town v St. George's

In a match that will go a long way to confirming St. George's as legitimate top flight foe, it will also be a good test for the champions who have hit a bump in the road in recent weeks.

For Colts, it will be on the shoulders of Clay Darrell and former Hornet Jahron Dickinson to spearhead the side in attack, while the Signor brothers will have to keep it tight at the back in order to have any hope of earning all three points.

Town will need to get back to their best, which is attacking football, if they are to not let this one slip through their fingers.

Home form is vital so look for the champions to edge this one.

Prediction: Town 2-1

Boulevard v North Village

Coming off of a memorable Dudley Eve final and successful title defence, the Rams will now look to kick on in their quest for league glory.

The side may be a bit jaded from the 120 minutes they played on Thursday but with winning a trophy comes confidence, and Village won't be short of that.

Boulevard have a chance to take advantage of any fatigue that Rams might be feeling after Thursday's victory.

While the side can look to a wealth attacking options, someone else will need to score beside Temiko Wilson if they are to be a force in this match

Prediction: Village 3-2

Somerset Eagles v Devonshire Cougars

Cougars will be looking to get back on track against an Eagles side who have played just one match in the last three weeks.

Losing a final can be disspiriting but if Cougars can display what they showed in the final against Village, it could be a long day for Eagles.

Needing to make a move from the bottom of the table, Eagles will be relying on their strikers to find their form.

Too many times this season the West End club have created chances only to be let down by their finishing.

Prediction: Cougars 2-0

Southampton Rangers v PHC

PHC can continue their fine league form with a win over lowly landlords Rangers and keep pace with the leading pack.

Having not played in 10 days, the Zebras will be well rested before making a final push ahead of the Christmas break.

Playing a Rangers side that have won back to back games will be a test, depending on which Rangers side shows up.

If Rangers can get an early goal against their tenants it could make the game interesting given Zebras known history in front of goal, but they will have to keep an eye on Idrees Sharieff and Khamisi Lightbourne to stand a chance.

Prediction: PHC 2-1
