Trust given permission to build weekend home on Long Island
The Development Applications Board (DAB) approved a number of developments last week.
Seatemps Trust were granted in principle approval to build a weekend home on Long Island, Warwick.
The DAB said the home should only be used for ?weekend recreational purposes? rather than as permanent accommodation.
Former president and chief executive officer of Stevedoring Services Bruce Lines was given final Planning permission to convert an existing building into a guest apartment on Harbour Road, Paget.
However, the guest-room must not add to the number of existing bedrooms at his home, without the permission of the DAB. Architect Malcolm Wilson said the project called for the conversion of one ?little room?.
Keith Woodley was also given final Planning approval to change his private horse stable into a commercial one.
The stable, located at 56, Railway Trail, Warwick, may only keep four horses or ponies, the DAB said.
