Western Union services have been disrupted on the island due to a system upgrade
Money transfer company Western Union expects its services in Bermuda to be back to normal by September 8.
An interruption to its services during the past two weeks has caused problems for residents who use the company to send money overseas.
Alvin Wilson, the firm’s managing director, said the company’s system is being updated.
He added: “Western Union’s systems should be updated on September 8.”
Western Union has branches in St. George’s, Hamilton and Somerset.
