Police officer, 42, dies at home

Constable Andrew Thomas died Sunday morning from an unknown medical condition.The 42-year-old was described as a well-known and highly respected Police officer by Commissioner Michael DeSilva.The 42-year-old died at his home at 4 a.m. yesterday morning. Attempts to revive the officer by attending medical services were not successful. The exact cause of death is not known at this time; however foul play is not suspected.

Mr. Thomas had been an officer for 26 years.
The Commissioner extended condolences to the Thomas family on behalf of the Bermuda Police Service.
