Raising the bar on vodka cocktails

Grey Goose brand ambassador, bartender Jason Druckenmiller is on Island to host two free mixology workshops.Today at 2pm, he will be at The Inferno Lounge on North Shore, Devonshire; tomorrow he will host a seminar at the Fairmont Southampton, starting at 1.30pm.Mr Druckenmiller’s visit is part of the premium vodka brand’s consumer education programme. He will also introduce unique Grey Goose beverages through the bartenders at The Port O’Call Restaurant tonight, from 7pm to 8pm.Mr Druckenmiller has more than 15 years of experience in the beverage industry.He has won numerous awards in bartending competitions around the world and created cocktail menus and beverage programmes for bars, restaurants, casinos, resorts and cruise ships.His signature cocktails, created for the Royal Caribbean’s Allure of the Seas speciality restaurants, were featured and tasted on the ‘Today Show’.Made in Cognac, France, Grey Goose is considered one of the world’s leading super premium vodkas. According to a brand spokesman, François Thibaut, the Maître de Chai, Grey Goose works to ensure every element of its production is of the highest quality using an exclusive five-step distillation process.
