Camily Lovell named Pathways Bermuda clinical manager
An addiction treatment provider has hired a new clinical manager as part of its commitment to providing trauma-informed, evidence-based care.
Camily Lovell has extensive clinical experience and a strong background in programme management, Pathways Bermuda said, adding that her approach prioritises “psychological safety, compassion and empowerment in every aspect of care delivery”.
The charity added that Ms Lovell’s leadership is driving improvements in clinical processes, fostering team cohesion, and shaping quality initiatives that strengthen client care and organisational resilience.
“As we continue to meet the increasing demand for effective and compassionate care, we are thrilled to welcome Camily to our leadership team,” said Gita Blakeney Saltus, the executive director of Pathways Bermuda.
“Her expertise and vision are deeply aligned with our mission, and her early impact has already been felt across our programmes.”
Ms Lovell added: “I am honoured to join Pathways Bermuda at such a critical time.
“My focus is on creating a trauma-informed environment where individuals and their affected family members feel safe, supported and empowered in their healing journey.
“I believe in the power of collaborative and equitable care, and am committed to supporting the team in delivering consistent, person-centred services that make a real difference in the lives of the people that we serve.”
Ms Blakeney said the “milestone” reflects Pathways Bermuda’s larger vision of strengthening its clinical infrastructure to better serve people affected by substance use and co-occurring disorders in Bermuda.
Ms Lovell is as an internationally certified drug and alcohol counsellor.
She holds a Master of Arts in Human Services Counselling from Liberty University in Virginia, a postgraduate degree in addictions and mental health from Durham College in Canada, and a Bachelor of Arts in Criminology and Justice (Forensic Psychology) from Ontario Tech University in Canada.
She is pursuing a Doctorate of Education in Community Care and Counselling (Traumatology) at Liberty University.
Ms Lovell joined Pathways Bermuda on April 14.
