DJ Young Chow is one of the top DJs on Hot 97FM radio station in New York and also DJs on BET 106 & Park. He will be one of the special guests at this year's White Party at Barrs Park on Saturday at 9pm.

It’s become a staple event on the local party scene for the past five years and just happens to be going down this weekend.The Annual All White Gemini Birthday Party will take place at Barr’s Bay Park tomorrow at 9pm.Organiser Rowan Ramotar said he first started the event back in 2007 to celebrate his birthday. Thanks to partner sponsors Heineken, Smirnoff and Pepsi, he said this year would be the biggest celebration yet.Mr Ramotar has managed to secure two of New York’s best DJs DJ Young Chow from Hot 97FM and DJ Spin Citi from The Fire Station, 105FM.“His DJ skills as well as his personality on the mic have made people dub him ‘The One Man Show’,” he said of DJ Spin Citi. “He brings a certain type of energy to parties that makes you want to dance all night.“Along with these two versatile and internationally acclaimed DJs we have three of Bermuda's best I-Mega, King Jyrus and YGS. These guys are at the top of their game right now and should show DJs Chow and Spin a few tricks of their own.”The venue will be tented with an elevated stage built in the centre of the dance area. There will also be a section called the Heineken Wall of Fame where partygoers can go to get professional pictures taken, he said.“The park will be lit up with black lights which will make the white outfits look nice. There will also be several prizes plus one grand door prize.”The first 300 guests will get a free promotional CD, featuring “78 minutes of fist pumping, socarobics and dance hall music”, mixed by DJ Aztec of Desert Eagle Sound.Mr Ramotar said: “This is a must-attend event. I am going all out to make this a memorable [party].“Last year we had over 800 guests inside Gombeys at Clearwater. Overseas DJs Back2Basics and Sound4Life will join local talents D’General and D’Nice. Attendees also receive a complimentary cocktail, music and hors d'oeuvres.People will receive 25 chips to start off the night, which is included in the $100 ticket price, available at www.flytix.bm.Sunday will be the perfect chance to have some family-filled fun at the Friends of Hospice 16th Annual Rubber Duck Derby at Ordnance Island from 2pm.The day will include live entertainment, food vendors, a bouncy castle and children’s play area. The highlight of the afternoon will, of course, be the duck races, which include a Family Race ($20), a Pamper Me Race ($10) and a Youth Race ($5).
