A total of 10 shares in telecoms firm KeyTech changed hands on The Royal Gazette/BSX Index.

The move saw the firm’s price rise by 35 cents (14 per cent) to $2.85.

And 2,400 shares in utilities firm Ascendant, the parent of power firm Belco, moved, with its price going up by 15 cents (3 per cent) to $5.20.

The Royal Gazette/BSX closed at 1,245.70, up 6.23 points (0.5 per cent).

The BSX Insurance Index also ended the day up, by 1.64 points (0.1 per cent) at 1,616.62.
