Four stocks fall

On a day of low trading volume, four stocks declined on The Royal Gazette/BSX Index.

Shares of HSBC Holdings were down 50 cents (5.81 per cent) at $8.10, after 2,500 were traded.

Also falling was BF&M, with its stock closing down 75 cents (4.3 per cent) at $16.75, after 100 shares changed hands.

Bank of Butterfield shares lost three cents in value (1.7 per cent) to close at $1.76, after 8,862 were traded, while Agrus Group slipped one cent (0.3 per cent) to end the day at $3.80, after 1,000 shares changed hands.

The total value of shares traded was $36,870.12. The Royal Gazette/BSX Index ended down 19.07 points (1.54 per cent) at 1,215.11.

The BSX Insurance Index was up 21.43 points (1.33 per cent) at 1,630.24.
