Three stocks rose on The Royal Gazette/BSX Index, with BF&M Ltd leading the way with an improvement of $3.01, or 16.7 per cent, to $21 after 1,355 shares traded.

Shares of Ascendant Group Ltd were up 50 cents, or 3.3 per cent, to $15.50 after 10,000 were exchanged, and One Communications Ltd improved seven cents, or 2.4 per cent, to $2.95 after 11,000 changed hands.

The Royal Gazette/BSX Index was up 28.82 points, or 1.05 per cent, at 2,781.34.

The BSX Insurance Index was down 2.76 points, or 0.14 per cent, at 1,903.25.

The Bermuda Stock Exchange is closed tomorrow for the Bermuda Day holiday.
