Shares of BF&M Ltd were down $3.90, or 18.6 per cent, after 1,000 traded on The Royal Gazette/BSX Index.

Bermuda Press (Holdings) Ltd, publisher of The Royal Gazette, saw its shares improve 35 cents, or 5.7 per cent, to $6.50 after 500 were exchanged.

On the New York Stock Exchanges, shares of Butterfield Bank were down $1.02, or 2.13 per cent, at $46.95.

The Royal Gazette/BSX Index was down 29.4 points, or 1.06 per cent, at 2,750.47.

The BSX Insurance Index was down 91.18 points, or 4.78 per cent, at 1,814.36.
