Butterfield shares down 5.6%

The Royal Gazette/BSX Index was down 89.95 points at 2,077.34
Shares of Butterfield Bank fell by $2, or 5.6 per cent, to $33.50 after 1,100 traded on The Royal Gazette/BSX Index. On the New York Stock Exchange the bank’s shares were down 39 cents, or 1.14 per cent, at $33.90.
The Royal Gazette/BSX Index down 89.95 points, or 4.15 per cent, at 2,077.34, while the BSX Insurance Index fell 4.05 points, or 0.27 per cent, to 1,508.
